I keep saying I'm going to take a break from the series after I finish each book, but then I just pick the next one up. It's like crack, this vampire stuff.
Another solid entry in the series. I read this almost in one sitting on a Friday night, into the wee hours of the morning. Harris seems to be getting better with plot as the series moves along, or at least compared to the weakly plotted second book, but I do wish she'd stop throwing new men at Sookie and just give me more Eric. No Calvin, no Alcide, no Quinn. Sam can stay, and Bill has his moments even though he's mostly rather dull. But more Eric, please. Just give me Eric and I'll be a happy girl.
