Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West - Cormac McCarthy Feb 9. I could only manage to read about 10 pages or so last night because of sheer exhaustion, but those pages were electric. I may have had a litgasm.

McCarthy's prose, especially the intensely visual description, continues to make me tingle, but someone should have a talk with him about unclear antecedents. I keep getting lost trying to figure out who's doing what.
