Actual rating for the first 100 pages I read is 2.5 stars. It's due back to the library and someone else has it on hold, so I can't renew it. It wasn't really grabbing me anyway. It strikes me as a competent novel, but not a great one. There are a lot of flaws with glimmers of something interesting, but I'm not really the audience for the problems of white affluent suburbia. I may finish once copies hit the remainder table and I can pick it up cheap.
