I liked this book well enough, although it almost felt like a placeholder book for the series as the book doesn't really have a through-plot of its own. Some threads from previous books get wrapped up. New ones get introduced. I suppose what the book really is about is Sookie herself evaluating who she's become since we first met her back in Dead Until Dark
, and whether she can live with the person she's become through the events of the seven books leading up to this one. I look forward to picking the next one up.
